The academy ensures that all students training in the new skill will be trained to ensure the best advice and care will be given to the clients. Hair extensions that are applied, worn and cared for correctly are not a threat to your natural locks!

I am now trained in the following methods of hair extensions:- Nano rings and Micro rings. I qualified in theses methods in a credited two day course in November 2017.

Consultations

Consultations are free of charge and usually take around 15-20 minutes. During the consultation we will discuss any requirements you may have, choose the best method of hair extensions for you and colour match your hair to create a natural finish.

Nano Rings

Nano rings are the smallest micro ring method with the rings being 90% smaller and less detectable than standard micro rings. There is no glue, heat, braiding or sewing involved. They are perfect for all hair types but are especially suited for fine or thin hair, and for light blonde hair. The Nano ring extensions need to be fully removed and re-fitted after 3 months wear but the hair can be re-used again. Using Routes hair extensions and the correct aftercare products the hair can be reused up to 6 months providing you take good care of the hair.

Micro Rings

This method works by combining strands of your natural hair with stick tipped extension hair, which is secured with a small metal ring. There is no glue, heat, sewing or braids involved. Micro Ring extensions can stay in for up to six months, as you can have them moved up and re-tightened every six to eight weeks. If micro rings are applied to very fine hair they may slip down or be visible, and they may also be visible in light blonde hair. Using Routes hair extensions and the correct aftercare products the hair can be reused up to 6 months providing you take good care of the hair.

Maintenance

To be required every 2 months/8 weeks to avoid matting and damage to the new hair growth. The prices below include all new micro/nano copper tubes and cutting/styling your new hair afterwards.
